about

Recorded live from the board in Knoxville during Big Ears 2022 at the Pilot Light.
The previous incarnation of Judge Schreber and Her Magic Band was myselv with the Magic Tuber Stringband: Evan Morgan and Courtney Werner. But Courtney couldn't make the show.

We were on before We Were Here Before, the trio with Luke, Mark and Nik Francis. So I hit up Luke to sub for Courtney and Mark offered to play drums on the last number. They are way cool.

Also, on the way out there I stopped for gas in the mountains and there weren't any cars near me so I was blasting some Ayler while filling up. But then a car pulled up to the pump next to mine, so I went and turned it down out of courtesy.
Then who should jump out of the car but Mark, Luke, and Nik!
So I turned that shit back up.
